Response

Despite all manners of inflation as a result of Covid'19, there are still affordable food combinations
in Nigeria for average families, See below different options and their prices.
With N2,200 you can cook 2 days meal for family of 6 and it will be nutritious
Sweet-potatoes N200
2 cans of beans (1600gm) N400
2 cans of Rice (1600gm) N800
Tomatoes & Pepper N200
Onions & Vegetables N200
Palm oil N100
Sardine Fish N200
Banana or Orange N100
Total N2,200
Using N2.200 to divide 6 people is less than N400 per person and that is for 2 days. So apparently less than N200 per day for one person.
Every home should give priority to nutrition most especial for their growing up children.
Failure to do this will lead to malnutrition and they will fall sick and be visiting hospitals repeatedly.
